Booking Calendar 2008

You can book online here. We take online bookings for a minimum of 1 week, Saturday to Saturday. We will consider requests for shorter periods outside of the July-August holiday period. If you would like to make a request for this, please send an e-mail.

Otherwise, you can book online now. Once you have selected the period you want and have filled in the booking form, you will be asked if you would like to confirm the booking by paying a deposit of 25% by credit card. If you do that, your booking will be immediately made and confirmed.

If you would prefer to pay by cheque or bank transfer to a UK account please follow the same procedure by selecting the week that you wish on the booking chart below. That will produce a booking form which you can email to us. When we receive the email, we will hold the booking for you for four days while you make the deposit payment.

Deposit And Payment

We require a booking deposit of 25% of the total rental payment on booking, with the remainder payable 3 weeks before you arrive.

Payment Methods

Credit Card - you can pay immediately using your credit card on the online booking system. We use PayPal , which offers you a secure means of payment.

Money transfer – if you have a UK bank account, please make a transfer to Account 00422557, Sort Code 800224, putting your name as a reference. Please email us to say that you have made the transfer.

Cheque – if you have a UK bank account, you could send your cheque to David Geddes, 28 Radnor House, Harlands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH16 1LN. Please make the cheque out to David Geddes.

Cancellation

If the booking is cancelled 1 month or more before the rental period, the deposit will be refunded in full. Any postal or bank costs incurred in making the refund will be deducted from the refund.

If the booking is cancelled less than 3 weeks before the start of the rental period, the deposit and (if relevant) full payment will not be refunded.

The entire agreed rental fee must be paid even if the property is used by less people that you indicated when making the booking or your party does not use the property for the full period indicated when making the booking.

Local Tourist Tax

All visitors who stay on the Island must pay a tourist tax, which we will add to your bill. It is not included in the tariff. It is €1.00 per day per adult and € 0,50 per day per child between the ages of 12 and 18. There is no charge for under 12s . It is not included in the tariff.

Damages Deposit

The hirer is responsible for repair or replacement of any damages caused. Villa Mjesto is set up more like a home than a rental property and we hope that you will treat it as you would your home.

Upon arrival, please leave a deposit Kuna 500 with Majda (Hvar Touristik Agency). The deposit will be fully refunded to you when you leave provided there is no damage to the property. If there is damage, an appropriate amount will be deducted. We reserve the right to apply a charge higher than the deposit if repairs cost more than the amount of the deposit. Please make payment before leaving Stari Grad. Please let Majda (Hvar Touristik Agency) know if any damage has occurred.

Liability

The amenities of the property shall be used entirely at hirer's own risk.

On Arrival

The House is available from 15:00h on the agreed date and must be vacated by 10.30h on the day of departure to allow preparation for the next guests.

If possible, please notify Majda at majda@hvar-touristik.com of your time of arrival.

When your ferry arrives, please call at the Hvar Touristik Agency at their office, which is in the town centre, near the head of the harbour.

Upon arrival, please give Majda the travel documents of all members of the party so that she can complete the administrative procedures. It is standard procedure and completely safe to provide these documents. They will be returned within 24 hours.

Please also leave a deposit Kuna 500 with Madja. The deposit will be fully refunded to you when you leave provided there is no damage to the property. If there is damage, an appropriate amount will be deducted.

The house will be provided clean and ready for use, complete with bedding that will be changed weekly. There is spare bedding if required.

There is an inventory list in the house. If there are any damages or missing items compared to the inventory, please report them to Majda within 24 hours or arrival.

The house has bed space for 8 although it could accommodate a maximum of 10 people. Occupation of more than that is not allowed without our permission. Please do not cause any disturbance to neighbours. If you do, we reserve the right to terminate the Contract without returning the deposit.

Majda will be happy to help you if you have any problems or information needs while you are in Stari Grad. They can also arrange car and equipment hire and excursions.
